How to Prepare for a Service Visit

For general pest control, we will typically spray around the baseboards of the home. Small items like toys and clothes should be away from the edges of the room. Furniture does not need to be moved.

The spray requires about 30 minutes to dry, so please be careful not to walk on or touch the areas until they have dried.

For bedbug treatment:

More preparation is required. Where possible, large furniture should be moved away from the wall so all baseboards can be sprayed.

We will spray the sides and edges of the mattresses, box springs, and sofas/sofa cushions if needed. Bed linens MUST be removed prior to the visit. We suggest that you wash them immediately in hot water (or bag them in plastic bags until able to be washed).

If sofas need to be sprayed, make sure to remove and stack the cushions so we know to spray them.

We recommend that you vacuum and sweep any floors prior to the visit. The cleaner the areas are, the better our spray will work at killing and preventing the bedbugs.

Any heavy cleaning like mopping or shampooing carpets should be done prior to the visit. Our spray has residual effects, and will continue to work for a month after application unless it is removed by heavy cleaning.

Areas affected by bedbugs will likely require additional attention and service. We suggest that you evaluate the situation 2-3 weeks after the visit. If additional bedbug evidence is found please schedule your next service right away.
